In 1954, the city of Kongsvinger sold Rolighed, and the building was turned into a woodworking factory. The old dancing hall and garden parlour became the production place of countless doors and window frames.The factory was here until 1983. The basement held a tin smith for a time, as well as a garage where new car mechanics were educated.
